A Note From the Founder
Like many language learners, I spent years relying on Anki to build advanced vocabulary. The internet is full of pre-made decks, but they are almost always generic frequency lists packed with words you do not care about. Real fluency happens when you learn vocabulary tied to what you are genuinely interested in: video games, cinema, technology, finance, sci-fi novels, or literature.
The problem was that quality decks for specific interests simply did not exist. If you wanted cards tailored to your passions, you had to build every single one yourself. Spending hours manually creating cards, hunting down authentic example sentences, and reformatting definitions was exhausting work that stole time away from actually learning.
Existing automation tools did not help much either. They just copied flat dictionary definitions or dumped unedited machine translations without understanding real sentence context, leaving you with cards that were frustrating to review.
